What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate activities that balance fun and learning
- Mentor and support camp teachers and staff to ensure a smooth, high-quality program
- Build strong, positive relationships with campers, fostering a sense of belonging
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration through group projects and games
- Keep campers safe by following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for all campers
- Communicate with parents and guardians about camper experiences and progress
- Assist with camp operations, schedules, and daily logistics
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children ages 5–12 in camp, childcare, or educational settings
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow as a mentor and role model for staff
- Strong understanding of child development and recreational programming
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure
- Creative, fun-loving, and organized with a practical approach
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts)
