Join our team at DKZ Children’s Classic, where we prioritize the magic of childhood and create a nurturing, play-based learning environment! This role supports classrooms across the center, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every classroom.
Candidates must be 16 years of age or older and hold current Utah Food Handlers Permit (or be willing to obtain it).
Position: Part-Time Classroom Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approximately 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4–5 hours daily)
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Engage children in scheduled classroom activities and play-based learning
- Encourage positive peer interactions and assist with resolving occasional conflicts
- Support the Lead Teachers by providing lunch breaks and planning time coverage
- Help maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build meaningful connections with children and team members
