The US affiliate of DISCO Corporation, DISCO Hi-Tec America, Inc. (DHA), based in San Jose, CA, is currently seeking applicants to join its Accounting team as a Accountant.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for daily general ledgers and journal entries
- Check data accuracy and update for general accounting
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting financial figures to managers upon requests
- Helping build AP structures in the beginning of their DISCO career
· Participate and contribute to DISCO corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of general accounting, with background and experience in Accounts Payable
- Detail-Oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexible, open minded individual who seeks for continuous improvement of tasks
- Strong analyzation and problem solving skills
- Able to work with minimum supervision, with the ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
Education and Experience:
· 6 years of corporate accounting experience, with 5 years of AP experience preferred
· Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is a plus
