Unit: Outpatient Clinic - Gladwin
Unit Description:
APP or Physician will provide outpatient care to busy practice of family medicine physicians and advanced practice providers. Must be able to cover all areas of Family Medicine. Support is needed to help with acute care and to help during transition for new physicians. Facility prefers a Michigan-based provider and one who has worked in Michigan and is been enrolled with Michigan insurances. Provider MUST BE current with all Michigan licenses, including CS-3. Provider will be required to attend nine hours of electronic medical records training with AllScripts program. Additional orientation will be scheduled to introduce provider to available resources and people.
The facility has 4-5 Physicians and 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers. Support staff includes LPN and Medical Assistants. Patient Population is a mix of Outpatient newborn to geriatric. Gladwin location averages about 20 patients per day and has 25 critical access beds.
Gladwin, MI has a population of about 3000, and is considered 'Central/Lower Michigan'. Gladwin is 35 minutes away from Midland, MI which has a population of 80,000. The nearest airport is a 45 minute drive from Gladwin.
On Call requirements: Phone call shared among all providers
