Sales and Project Coordinator - Construction
Our client is a leading construction contractor representing a number of manufacturers of outdoor recreation equipment and amenities. They are seeking to hire a Sales and Project Coordinator that will serve as the glue between the sales team, design staff, construction team, vendors, and clients. This person ensures proposals and projects are quoted, presented, and delivered with excellence.
In this role, you will help drive the sales process forward – managing details, following up, solving problems, and ensuring every client interaction reflects our company’s high standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships, and takes ownership from the first client call through installation completion.
Role must report to the office daily.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales representatives & leadership to prepare proposals, quotes & presentations that align with client goals & budgets.
- Serve as the main contact for clients throughout the quoting and planning process clear, consistent communication is key.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for pricing, specifications, and product recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM/ERP system to track opportunities and project status.
- Follow up with clients to keep projects moving forward and ensure a professional, organized experience.
- Once projects are sold, coordinate next steps including scheduling, material orders, and documentation.
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the client.
- Manage communication between sales, construction, and leadership to keep everyone aligned.
- Represent the company with professionalism and care throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 3 years of Inside Sales, Project Coordinator or related experience
- Sales support, project coordination and/or account management background in Construction, Outdoor Recreation and/or Design a plus
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving skills
- Excellent Communication and Client Relationship skills
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
