Account Executive - Steel (Pressure Tubing Experience Required)
Our client, a leader in manufacturing steel solutions for structural applications, is seeking an Account Executive with pressure tubing sales experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, skilled at building relationships, and experienced in new business development with the ability to close complex sales opportunities. This role will report into the office with minimal travel requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales goals and quotas
- Develop new accounts while growing existing ones
- Engage in consultative selling and close new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage the full sales cycle
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored product solutions
- Prepare quotes, follow up, and manage order entry/tracking
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships as a trusted advisor
- Maintain deep product knowledge and articulate product value propositions
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 3 years B2B Sales experience with pressure or instrumentation tubing required
- Proven success in new business development
- Experience in the manufacturing or steel industry highly preferred
- Knowledge/Understanding of OD/ID sizing, alloys (304, 316, 317L, etc.), wall thickness and ASTM/ASME specifications
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
- Ability to travel as needed to trade shows and clients (minimal)
Offering:
- Base Salary: $100,000 (based on experience)
- Up to 25% Bonus Potential (paid out monthly)
- Reimbursement for all travel expenses
