Dosing Manager

Job Summary:

Biovation Labs is seeking a Dosing Manager to join our team. The Dosing Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dosing Department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of encapsulated, tableted, and coated products. This role involves supervising personnel, maintaining equipment standards, enforcing regulatory compliance (cGMP), and supporting quality assurance activities, The Dosing Manager serves as a key liaison between operations, quality, scheduling, and warehouse teams, providing leadership and accountability for output accuracy, employee training, and process improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong operational knowledge, excellent communication, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

 Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Enforces safety and sanitation regulations.
• Runs the day-to-day shift operations for the Dosing Department in a professional and organized manner.
• Directs and coordinates the activities of employees to ensure the smooth operation of processes for encapsulating, tableting and coating.
• Accepts responsibility for the timely, accurate, and quality delivery of finished product by supervising all activities related to the final delivery of finished products.
• Ensures that machinery and equipment are operated at acceptable standards and in compliance with cGMP regulations.
• Notifies Maintenance Staff of any equipment failures or problems with equipment.
• Sets rules and procedures related to encapsulating, tableting, and coating processes for employees to follow and updates employees as changes occur.
• Provides training to and oversight for employees to ensure they can operate in compliance with applicable company policies, regulations, and the Redzone software platform.
• Provides training for all employees on Redzone and enforces quality checks and other actions required by regulations. 
• Coordinates with the Quality Unit to investigate and close OOS, corrective actions, and non-conformances in a timely manner.
• As needed, participates in internal audits.
• Provides a work environment that engenders positive energy, creativity, and teamwork.
• Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
• Monitors staff morale and welfare, taking firm and positive actions to maintain good order and discipline.
• Handles disruptive issues as a top priority when they arise, such as risk management, scheduling, quality, employee dissatisfaction, and any other event that causes disruption in the workplace. 
• Notifies Management immediately of any incidents, accidents, quality issues, or equipment failures.
• Representative of the company at any committee meetings or employee events.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or other Executive Staff. 
• Overall leadership and maintaining a safe work environment for all Dosing employees 
• Main contact to provide all finalized output numbers on Redzone and update Redzone with any missed actions 
• Work closely with scheduling on a weekly plan to schedule products on the correct equipment
• Sending out accurate information on returns to support Warehouse inventory

 Job Requirements:

• Is attentive and follows safe work practices.
• Able to proficiently operate all encapsulation, tableting, and coating equipment in accordance with current SOPs.
• Able to lead and direct the work of others.
• Frequently walk, stand, bend, reach throughout shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. 
• Climbing and balancing on ladders or step stools to reach high areas.
• Comply with GMP clean room PPE.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience sufficient to:
• Proficiently read, speak and write English in accordance with FDA requirements for recordkeeping and encapsulation purposes.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations—add, subtract multiply, divide, percentages. Understand and abide by 21 CFR Part 111.
