Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate to join the Financial Industry / Structured Finance practice of a leading international law firm in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing practice with a strong market presence in complex structured finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent investment banks and asset managers in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions

Advise clients on complex structured finance matters from inception through closing

Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated financial products and transactions

Manage transaction workflows and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible for admission)

Mid-level associate experience in structured finance, with a strong focus on CLOs
-
Prior experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers
-
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:

Base salary range: $235,000 – $365,000
(Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.)
