Structured Finance Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate to join the Financial Industry / Structured Finance practice of a leading international law firm in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing practice with a strong market presence in complex structured finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent investment banks and asset managers in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions

• Advise clients on complex structured finance matters from inception through closing

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated financial products and transactions

• Manage transaction workflows and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school

• Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible for admission)

• Mid-level associate experience in structured finance, with a strong focus on CLOs

• Prior experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

• Base salary range: $235,000 – $365,000
  (Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.)
