Direct Counsel represents a reputable law firm in Orange County seeking a Senior Counsel to join its Toxic Tort and Product Liability practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to take on significant responsibility, manage complex cases, and work within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage toxic tort and product liability defense matters from inception through resolution
- Oversee discovery, draft and argue motions, and prepare cases for trial
- Take and defend depositions, including working closely with expert witnesses
- Develop case strategy and advise clients on litigation risk and outcomes
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys
What We’re Looking For:
- 8 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on toxic tort and/or product liability
- Strong experience managing cases independently
- Proficiency in depositions, motion practice, and discovery
- Experience working with experts and preparing cases for trial
- Ability to supervise and mentor associates
- Trial experience is a plus
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar admission and must reside in California
Compensation:
- Salary range: $180,000 – $200,000, depending on experience
- Significant bonus opportunities
