Responsibilities
- Handle general civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement discussions
- Collaborate closely with Partners on complex litigation matters
- Manage deadlines and workload in a fast-paced legal environment
- Assist with client development and maintaining client relationships
Qualifications
- 6 years of broad civil litigation experience
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters
- Business development experience or interest preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain a 1,800 annual billable hour pace
Compensation
Salary Range: $130,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities and additional incentive compensation.
