Litigation Associate (1-6 years)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1–6 years of experience to join a premier litigation practice handling sophisticated, high-stakes disputes across a broad range of industries. Responsibilities

• Support all phases of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Assist with discovery, witness preparation, and deposition preparation
• Participate in hearing preparation, trial strategy, and case management activities
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-profile matters
• Interface with clients and litigation teams regarding case strategy and developments

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of litigation experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Tennessee Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits
