About the Role:
The associate will handle all phases of litigation, from drafting motions and managing discovery to taking depositions and preparing for trial. The role offers a high level of responsibility and direct client interaction within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft briefs, motions, and other pleadings

Take and defend depositions

Manage discovery in complex matters

Participate in trial preparation and strategy

Utilize federal and state e-filing systems

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis
Qualifications:

2–3 years of litigation experience, ideally in a law firm setting

Active North Carolina Bar license required

Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

Familiarity with North Carolina Business Court and/or South Carolina courts preferred
