Junior Litigation Associate

The Charlotte office of Holland & Knight has an immediate opportunity for a litigation associate with two to three years of experience for its North Carolina and national litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in depositions, trial preparation, e-filing systems and research and drafting, as well as knowledge of North Carolina and South Carolina courts. Candidates must have an active North Carolina license.

• Taking and defending depositions
• Discovery for complex matters
• Trial experience, including preparation, in either state or federal courts.
• Federal and state e-filing systems capabilities and skill set
• Strong skills and research capabilities on all electronic platforms.
• North Carolina Business Court knowledge
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines.
