Responsibilities
- Handle sophisticated intellectual property and complex commercial litigation matters.
- Represent clients in disputes involving:
- Copyright
- Trademark
- Trade secrets
- Consumer class actions
- Complex commercial matters
- Conduct substantive legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
- Participate in fact and expert discovery.
- Assist with and take responsibility for significant components of complex litigation matters.
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
- Assist with case preparation for hearings, mediation, and trial.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of relevant litigation experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Copyright litigation
- Trademark litigation
- Trade secret litigation
- Consumer class actions
- Complex commercial litigation
- Superior academic credentials.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sophisticated litigation matters.
- Must be admitted in the jurisdiction of the applicable office or eligible to sit for or waive into the next available bar examination.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $310,000–$390,000, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
