What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Coverage/ Litigation Associate position at Direct Counsel?
Direct Counsel has partnered with an AmLaw 200 firm seeking a mid-level Associate to join one of the Nation’s leading insurance coverage groups in our Dallas, TX office. The Associate will handle complicated and large dollar coverage disputes involving white collar crime, including employee theft and a multitude of cyber and electronic crimes, primarily in federal courts throughout the U.S. and occasionally overseas.
Candidates must possess the following skillsets:
- 3 years of litigation practice experience
- Federal court litigation experience— preferably including taking and defending depositions and handling hearings
- Professional-lines insurance coverage experience is preferred but not required
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong academic credentials and a passion for excellence
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative team-based setting
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $175,000 – $190,000 annually (based on full-time schedule, experience, and qualifications)
