Healthcare Transactions Associate Attorney

A leading national law firm is seeking a Healthcare Transactions Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized healthcare practice. The Associate Attorney will be an integral member of deal teams advising clients on healthcare and legal management services organization (MSO) transactions.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced healthcare transactions team on sophisticated matters for clients across the healthcare industry. Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents

• Managing due diligence processes

• Coordinating review with attorneys and specialists across practice areas

• Supervising junior attorneys

• Advising clients throughout the transaction lifecycle

• Supporting healthcare and corporate/M&A transactions in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of corporate and mergers & acquisitions experience

• Healthcare transactions experience strongly preferred

• Private practice or law firm experience preferred

• Private equity experience is a plus

• Relevant transactional experience from an in-house role will also be considered

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities

• Sound judgment and close attention to detail

• Strong academic background

• Immediately transferable corporate/M&A skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Active Bar admission in the state where the candidate will reside, or eligibility to become licensed/waive in

• The position is expected to be performed in the office at least 3 business days per week
