Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate with at least 3 years of litigation experience focused on commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, and creditor/lender liability. The associate will join a highly collaborative national practice representing financial institutions in complex litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities

Draft briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, legal memoranda, and discovery requests

Represent financial institutions and lenders in real estate and commercial disputes

Manage complex litigation from inception through trial or resolution

Conduct legal research and analysis across multiple financial litigation issues

Collaborate closely with partners and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
Required:

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Admission to the State Bar

At least 2 years of relevant litigation experience relating to commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.

Extensive experience with legal drafting and procedural motion practice

Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred:

Background in commercial litigation or financial services litigation

Experience at a national or large regional law firm

$235k/yr - $365k/yr base salary commensurate with experience
