Direct Counsel represents a leading national law firm seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its expanding Global Loans/Global Markets practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise corporate trust companies and major financial institutions serving as indenture trustees and agents.
- Work on capital markets and finance transactions, including corporate debt, project finance, structured finance, loan facilities, and secured/asset-backed lending.
- Handle custodial arrangements and various agency appointments.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
- Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on sophisticated transactions.
Qualifications
- 3 years of substantive experience in corporate trust, capital markets, or finance.
- Experience advising corporate trust companies or major banking institutions preferred.
- Strong drafting, analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- New York Bar admission required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $260,000–$420,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
