Direct Counsel is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a respected national law firm in Las Vegas.
Our client is looking for a junior- to mid-level litigation associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its growing commercial litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is eager to take ownership of substantive litigation work, develop hands-on case management skills, and work closely with experienced litigators on complex disputes.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of litigation experience with meaningful exposure to discovery, motion practice, and day-to-day case management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage discovery matters, including drafting and responding to written discovery
- Draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings
- Conduct legal research and prepare litigation strategy memoranda
- Take ownership of assigned portions of litigation matters
- Assist with case development, fact analysis, and issue resolution
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Manage multiple litigation files and deadlines simultaneously
- Support trial preparation and other dispute-related proceedings as needed
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2–3 years of litigation experience
- Experience with:
- Discovery
- Motion practice
- Legal research and writing
- Case management
- Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and issue-spotting abilities
- Ability to independently manage portions of active matters
- Must be licensed in Nevada or eligible to waive in
