About the Role
The Litigation Associate will play an active role in managing complex litigation matters, including pre-trial discovery, motion practice, and client communications. You’ll have the opportunity to second-chair larger cases and first-chair smaller matters, gaining direct courtroom experience and client interaction.
This role offers a high level of responsibility and autonomy, with strong mentorship and collaboration across the firm’s litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze case facts, providing accurate legal recommendations.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda.

Assist lead trial attorneys with pre-trial strategy, discovery, and witness preparation.

Handle pre-trial motions and court appearances in both state and federal courts.

Prepare and argue motions for summary judgment.

Prepare and depose witnesses and deponents effectively.

Manage smaller commercial litigation cases independently.

Contribute to strategic discussions on case development and trial preparation.

Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications & Skills

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Licensed and in good standing in Arizona.

3 years of recent business litigation experience.

Strong familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules.

Exceptional legal research, writing, and drafting skills.

Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as needed.

Proven ability to manage cases efficiently and meet deadlines under pressure.
