Antitrust Associate Attorney – Washington, D.C.
Direct Counsel is seeking a highly qualified Antitrust Associate to join a nationally recognized law firm’s Business Litigation practice in Washington, D.C. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team representing both national and international clients in a broad range of antitrust matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in all stages of federal and state antitrust matters, including government investigations, complex civil and class action litigation, and merger review.

Advise on compliance and regulatory matters involving the DOJ, FTC, and state attorneys general.

Assist with pre-merger filings and clearance processes, including HSR filings.

Participate in depositions, motion practice, and oral arguments.
Qualifications:

2–4 years of relevant antitrust experience in a law firm or government agency (JD class years 2021–2023).

Background in investigations, merger clearance, or antitrust counseling strongly preferred.

Experience working with the DOJ or FTC is a significant plus.

Excellent academic credentials.

Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

Must be an active member of the Washington, D.C. bar.
Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $235,000–$280,000, depending on experience and other job-related factors. A full benefits package—including health, life, and disability insurance, discretionary bonuses, and a 401(k) plan—is also provided.
