Position Summary:
Dionne Commons Assisted Living Facility is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate compassion toward seniors, and contribute to a positive living atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, dining rooms, and offices according to established standards
- Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
- Launder linens, towels, and other facility items as needed
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate department
- Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as required
- Interact respectfully and courteously with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (healthcare or senior living setting a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Must be able to pass background checks as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
