PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position assists the Diaconate Director in the planning and execution of retreats, gatherings, paperwork pertaining to permanent deacons, and ministry to the Diaconate community. It is responsible for the coordination of the general operations of the diaconate office. Works under the direction of the Diaconate Director for routine job responsibilities and for Ministry Formation Department collaborative activities.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Bachelor’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry, a related field of study, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Must be able to perform and keep organized multiple events and tasks at the same time.
- Must work cross-functionally with members of other departments, mission teams, and parishes.
- Must have knowledge of Diocesan and Parish structures/procedures and Church teaching.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Confidentiality
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required
- Time management and organizational skills required
- Skilled in Church teachings, policies and procedures
- Valid driver’s license required
- Work with both individuals and groups
- Relate to a wide variety of people, including diverse populations and various cultures
- Assess and proactively address the needs of others
