Position Overview

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our faith-centered educational community in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and social development in students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and Catholic values.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
• Incorporate religious education and Catholic teachings into daily lessons and activities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success and school initiatives.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior in a respectful and consistent manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field; teaching certification required.
• Experience teaching elementary-aged children preferred.
• Strong understanding of Catholic teachings and willingness to integrate faith into the classroom.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
