5th Grade Classroom Teacher:
St. John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-filled 5th Grade Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who joyfully witnesses to the Faith and is committed to the mission of Catholic education. This teacher will possess a strong understanding of best instructional practices, effective classroom management strategies, and a deep desire to form the whole child—academically, spiritually, and morally.
The 5th Grade Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, rigorous instruction aligned to all Indiana Academic Standards for Grade 5. Beyond academic excellence, the teacher will intentionally cultivate wonder, virtue, and a love for learning—guiding students in their appreciation of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness, and drawing them ever closer to Jesus Christ.
