Job Overview
Private chef / Event planner needs a helper on occasion for dinner parties & events in Melbourne / Orlando area
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation activities - especially peeling & chopping
- Support chef with plating dishes to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Handle food service responsibilities such as serving guests
- Bussing tables
- Washing dishes
- Loading & unloading car
- Assistance with buffet / decor displays
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, catering, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Banquet experience or fine dining background is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Culinary experience or training in the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Hospitality or restaurant experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
Work Location: In person
