An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Chef to join the growing and dynamic team.

The applicant will be responsible to perform the following duties

• Setting up and stock workstations
• Preparing and cook food for service in cooperation with co-workers.
• Cooking to the exact specification of Head Chef.
• Ensuring the kitchen, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving, and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards at all times. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
• Make recommendations for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the kitchen and its equipment to supervisor.
• Keeping abreast of orders, inventory, availability, and events.
• Assisting with presentation of all dishes
• Assisting with execution of daily menu, caterings, and special event menus
• Ensuring uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
• Ensuring food comes out in a timely manner
• Complying with health, sanitation, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures, keeping abreast of policies and procedures and current developments in local, state, and federal laws applicable to food service, safe food handling, health standards etc.

Skill requirements

· Diploma in Hospitality ( Commercial Cookery)

· plus one years experience OR 3 years experience as a chef.
