Overview
We are seeking a Knife Sharpening Specialist to become a part of our team! This is a position working in our high volume Cocoa warehouse sharpening, edging, polishing and cleaning commercial restaurant knives. There may be other duties associated with the workday. The position may require some local and regional driving to deliver knives or other restaurant smallwares. You will perform necessary light duty work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of the establishment in good repair. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent daytime hours. Hours as the position begins will be roughly 25 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Work the knife sharpening line in the Cocoa Warehouse
- Complete sharpening work orders in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in knife sharpening, restaurants or other related fields
- Some familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work standing for periods of time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
