Job Description
The Parts and Service Advisor is the main point of contact for customers needing maintenance, repairs, or parts. This role involves scheduling service appointments, providing estimates, coordinating with technicians, and assisting with parts sales. The advisor ensures smooth, efficient service experience while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Greet customers and assess service or parts needs
- Schedule appointments and provide accurate estimates for repairs or parts
- Communicate customer concerns to technicians clearly and accurately
- Track repair progress and keep customers informed throughout the process
- Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts inventory and pricing
- Prepare service and parts invoices accurately
- Process payments and review charges with customers
- Provide guidance on maintenance schedules and aftermarket options
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints professionally
- Maintain service records, work orders, and parts logs
- Ensure compliance with warranty and manufacturer policies
- Support overall dealership goals and service department objectives
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of Service Advisor experience in a powersports / automotive dealership environment
- Proven success exceeding industry standards for profitability and CSI
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Previous working knowledge of Lightspeed preferred
- Excellent work history
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida driver license and clean driving record REQUIRED
