Job Title: SaaS Application Analyst / Business Analyst
Location: Roseland, NJ (Hybrid)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven SaaS Application Analyst / Business Analyst to support financial analysis, vendor management, and strategic evaluation of SaaS applications across the organization. This role will work closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, and key business stakeholders to optimize SaaS investments and ensure alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct financial analysis of SaaS applications, including cost/benefit analysis, ROI, usage trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, renewals, compliance reviews, and SLA monitoring.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of SaaS applications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Business Units to evaluate application value, consolidation opportunities, and budget impacts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and recommendations to executive leadership, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor SaaS market trends, benchmarks, and emerging vendors to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data security standards, and licensing agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, SaaS management, IT procurement, or vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel/financial modeling proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of SaaS contract structures, pricing models, and vendor ecosystems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
- Experience with SaaS Management Platforms such as Zylo, BetterCloud, Vendr, or similar.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven vendor management experience.
