What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Agent position at Digital Title Solutions?
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Title / Escrow Agent to head up our Winter Haven office launch. This is a full-time, in office position responsible for managing
the entire title and escrow process from file opening through closing and post closing.
The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and capable of handling multiple transactions
while delivering exceptional service to clients, agents, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening new title files and ordering title searches
- Reviewing title commitments and resolving title issues/defects
- Coordinating with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys
- Preparing settlement statements (CD/HUD) and closing documents
- Scheduling and conducting closings
- Ensuring proper execution of documents and disbursement of funds
- Handling post-closing tasks, including recording and file completion
- Maintain accurate and compliant files in accordance with company policies and First
American Title underwriting guidelines
- Utilize Qualia for file management, communication, and workflow tracking
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all parties to ensure smooth transactions
and timely closings
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate closings (Florida experience
preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the full title process from opening through post-closing Experience working with First American Title or similar underwriters
- Proficiency in Qualia or similar title software platforms
- Understanding of Florida real estate contracts, title insurance, and closing procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida Notary (or ability to obtain)
- Experience handling high volume transactions
- Familiarity with lender requirements and compliance standards
