The position requires thorough attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams under general supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of prototype and pre-production assemblies following defined quality criteria.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and basic electrical verification using precision tools (microscopes, gauges, multimeters, calipers).
- Review and confirm build documentation, including work instructions, travelers, and engineering notes.
- Identify discrepancies or defects and notify the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and verification activities during NPI phases.
- Participate in inspection readiness for pilot builds and Fusion development milestones.
- Maintain inspection areas in accordance with 5S, ESD protection, and safety standards.
- Record inspection results accurately and in compliance with company quality practices.
- Collaborate professionally with engineering, production, and quality team members during build reviews.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control, electronics inspection, manufacturing quality, or similar environment.
- Experience working with PCB assemblies, electronic components, or similar technical products preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings and work instructions.
- Proficiency with inspection and measurement tools.
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office; ERP experience (e.g., SYSPRO) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical coursework or certifications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following inspection procedures.
- Dependable and consistent execution of assigned tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication when reporting findings.
- Team-oriented approach to working with cross-functional partners.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed inspection tasks.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Work performed primarily in production, inspection, and engineering lab environments (ESD-protected areas).
- Hourly role, non-exempt.
- Compensation aligned with the Quality Control Associate level.
- Eligible for performance-based incentives and full ESOP participation.
