Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to support data pipeline development, database management, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with relational databases, ETL processes, and AWS services, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL systems
- Develop and debug SQL and PL/SQL code
- Build and optimize data models and database structures
- Work with AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Maven
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues across environments
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle (RDBMS) and PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (AWS Glue, Python-based pipelines)
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Java, or Unix scripting
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Docker)
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kafka / streaming technologies (Kinesis, SNS, SQS)
- API integration experience (Java-based APIs preferred)
- AWS Certifications (Associate / Professional)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch)
