**Job Summary**
Assist the Recreation/Facilities Manager and Facility Maintenance Manager with general supervision and cleanliness of the West River Community Center. This position will adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Dickinson Parks and Recreation.
**Essential Functions**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee may be exposed to a variety of cleaning chemicals and equipment standard to custodial duties. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**
Classified as a Part-Time Non-Benefited position. Non-conforming hours will be arranged monthly in consultation with their supervisor based around facility needs. It is anticipated that the position will work an average of 15 hours per week per year.

**Essential Functions**
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the facility.
- Knowledgeable in the use of various cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Communicate any problems and/or areas of concern with managers.
- Assists in hiring, training and supervising part-time and seasonal staff.
- Continuously monitors all areas of the facility, performs cleaning duties and enforces policies that promote participant safety and engagement.
- Communicates effectively with proper subordinates and maintains positive working relationships with other employees, agencies, and the public.
- Represents Dickinson Parks and Recreation in a positive manner.
- Attends regular department/committee meetings and performs related work as required.
- One year of preferred experience in cleaning and supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid drivers license.
- Current certification in CPR/First Aid/AED; or ability to obtain certifications within 12 months of employment.
