Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages and food items in a fast-paced seasonal bar and grill environment. This position helps create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring responsible alcohol service and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This position reports to the Bar and Grill Manager.
Job Duties:
Greet guests and provide friendly customer service.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Take food and drink orders and process payments accurately.
Check IDs and follow alcohol service laws and policies.
Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Work with other team members to ensure fast and efficient service.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Notify management when inventory or supplies are low.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous bartending, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of Oklahoma liquor laws preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and team-oriented attitude.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server’s Certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages, kegs, and supplies).
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor or semi-outdoor setting during peak season.
Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
