Commercial Construction Superintendent – Healthcare Projects

Location: Reno, NV

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects for a growing general contractor in the Reno area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in commercial healthcare construction, strong team management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractors, craft labor, and field personnel to maintain productivity and compliance with project plans.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe jobsite in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and manage project plans, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and field logistics to optimize efficiency.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues, providing solutions to keep projects on track.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects, preferably healthcare-focused.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and regulations for healthcare facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and managing field teams.
• OSHA certification required; additional healthcare or safety certifications a plus.
