We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to join a growing team on a large-scale commercial construction project in Texas. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for candidates with construction experience, particularly in mechanical construction. A degree in construction, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project management and field operations for mechanical construction projects
- Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates to the project management team
- Assist with quality control, safety compliance, and project reporting
- Support project engineers and managers in day-to-day construction activities
Qualifications
- Construction experience required; mechanical construction experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Willingness to relocate or live on-site for the duration of the project
