Mechanical Construction Maintenance Sales Representative
Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 base uncapped commission

We’re looking for someone who can walk into a facility, spot the gaps, and turn them into long-term service business—maintenance agreements, repairs, and small retrofits. Someone who can build trust, move quickly, and close.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Build and grow a book of business focused on preventative maintenance agreements and service work
- Generate proposals using internal (Excel-based) estimating tools
- Walk sites—including rooftops—and assess existing mechanical systems
- Turn service calls and inspections into long-term client relationships
- Follow up the right way: in person, phone, and email—whatever closes the deal
- Own your pipeline from first conversation to signed agreement
Day-to-Day Reality
- You’ll be in Excel regularly—building estimates, pricing work, and generating proposals
- You’ll be in the field—meeting clients, walking buildings, getting eyes on equipment
- You’ll be following up consistently—because that’s where deals are won
- You’ll be working with a team that can actually execute what you sell
What It Takes
- Experience in mechanical/HVAC/plumbing service sales, facilities, or construction
- Comfortable with both people and numbers—you can sell it and price it
- Computer literate—you don’t fight Excel, you use it
- Willing and able to get on rooftops and around equipment when needed
- Self-directed—you know how to build a pipeline without waiting for leads
