The position involves managing multiple projects, supervising teams, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of mechanical construction projects (HVAC & plumbing).
- Oversee contract scope, schedules, budgets, and safety compliance.
- Supervise and mentor Project Engineers and General Superintendents.
- Partner with field leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute project work.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and material procurement.
- Review and approve project billings, cost reports, and financial performance.
- Support design-build and design-assist efforts with the project design team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business development.
- Ensure timely project closeout, retainage collection, and lien compliance.
- 3–5 years of project management experience in mechanical contracting or related construction.
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Experience in both new construction and renovation projects.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Timberline accounting software, CAD, and related tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in change orders and client presentations.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Base salary $110K – $140K plus incentive plan
