Electrical Construction Division Manager

I’m partnered with a well-established electrical contractor that is actively seeking an experienced Division Manager to lead operations, project execution, and team development across large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction projects in the Rochester market.
This is a high-level leadership opportunity for someone with a strong operational background, proven team leadership experience, and a track record of successfully delivering complex electrical projects and growing business units.
About the Role
The Division Manager will oversee multiple project teams and field operations while driving overall performance, profitability, client relationships, and long-term growth initiatives for the division.
This individual will play a key role in strategic planning, operational leadership, staffing, business development support, and execution across a portfolio of high-profile electrical construction work.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall operations and execution for the electrical construction division
- Oversee multiple Project Managers, Superintendents, and operational teams
- Drive project performance, financial results, and client satisfaction
- Manage staffing, team development, and operational growth initiatives
- Oversee projects with electrical scopes and budgets of $10M
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, GCs, and key stakeholders
- Partner with preconstruction and executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Support business development efforts and repeat client growth
- Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions across projects
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in electrical construction
- Proven leadership experience managing large projects and teams
- Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical construction
- Experience overseeing projects with budgets of $10M
- Demonstrated success managing multiple teams and project portfolios
- Strong operational, financial, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities

Salary : $120,000 - $165,000
