Job Summary:
The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following:
General supervision of Plant Operations involving production, quality control, maintenance, materials, daily P&L, procurement/purchasing, finance/accounting, shipping/receiving, R&D, and business development as well as customer related sales.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Production:
Expertise in MSOffice/Excel
8 years of experience in management in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s Degree, Associates or some college commensurate with experience
Experience working within a documented quality system
Experience in Lean Application Methodologies
Knowledge of converting techniques and processes
Travel 25% - 50%
Experience with TS/ISO 16949
AutoCAD
Understanding of OEM pressures and market drivers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Plant Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, directing work, planning, addressing complaints, resolving problems and performance reviews.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Production:
- Tracking operating efficiencies
- Managing labor expenditures
- Reducing scrap
- Continuously improving production thru: Kaizen events, Kanban systems, SMED workshops
- Strong adherence to 5-S principles
- Define, research and specify any new equipment needs
- Specify layouts for all new tooling requirements with focus on material utilization and profitability
- Instill facility wide commitment to 100% on-time delivery of all products
- Implement, follow and continuously improve corporate and facility QMS
- Consistently reduce annual PPM rate
- Demonstrate the leadership required to maintain an accident free facility
- Facilitate monthly safety training for all employees per corporate and OSHA requirements
- Insure inventory is maintained with a focus on 8 turns annually
- Insure all BOM are up to date and accurate per the costing process
- Specifying new material requirements
- Negotiating with raw material suppliers to maintain a positive costing position
