Summary
The Wash Bay Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the wash bay at Diamond Environmental Services. This position ensures the efficient, safe, and high-quality cleaning of all company inventory while leading a team of wash bay attendants. The Wash Bay Lead plays a key role in maintaining operational standards, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support wash bay staff to ensure efficient daily operations
- Assign tasks, manage schedules, and maintain high cleaning standards
- Clean and sanitize portable restrooms and equipment as needed
- Inspect equipment for quality and functionality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Enforce safety protocols and report incidents or hazards
- Promote a positive team culture focused on improvement and accountability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Experience in equipment cleaning, sanitation, or related field
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in outdoor conditions
- Ability to bend/stoop, climb, stand and sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be available weekends, holidays and all shifts based on customer & business needs
