Summary
The Power Helper I with License serves as a working foreman responsible for overseeing and executing the safe and efficient installation of temporary and permanent power systems, including power poles and related electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform electrical installations on-site
- Meet with the superintendent before installation to plan project execution
- Operate a medium-duty truck to transport and deliver power equipment
- Set up power poles, lines, and temporary power systems
- Ensure all materials and tools are loaded, secured, and stocked
- Complete work orders and interact with customers professionally
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and ensure job readiness
- Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Ensure all work meets company and customer expectations
- Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installation and theory
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Must be reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
