Assembly Line Technician

Purpose:
As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in installing and troubleshooting various components such as hydraulics, axles, tires, electrical systems, and flooring. With a focus on maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, you'll ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. If you have a knack for problem-solving, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different work environments, then we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot hydraulics, axels, tires, electrical, and flooring.
- Capable of working in both Powder Booths and Wash Bay.
- Performs tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Must be physically able to access vehicles and equipment either by kneeling or lying on their back.
- Good communication skills.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Flexibility in working at different Diamond C locations.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of measurement, hand and power tools.
- Preferred knowledge of all aspects of hydraulics, axels, tires, electrical, powder application, and flooring.
- Ability to read and follow manuals, work orders and trailer specifications to meet quality standards.
- Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Mechanical/technical school program or Apprenticeship in auto repair or related field preferred.
- Previous related experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
