Assembly Technician

Blast Control is looking for versatile and experienced Assembly Technician candidates to grow our great team!

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assembly of structural components, using power tools and hand tools.
• Cutting steel and aluminum, using band saws, chop saws, and grinders.
• Crate building: Cutting lumber, using chop saws and circular saws.
• Forklift, telehandler, and man-lift operation.
• Miscellaneous inventory and material handling.

Experience Required: 2 years in technical trades, such as industrial assembly, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, welding and carpentry.

• Formal safety training.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Equipment repair/ mechanic skills.
• Electrical knowledge/ skills.
• Equipment operation: Forklift, telehandler, man-lift.
• Carpentry/ construction skills.
• Machine automation.
• Manufacturing training (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
• Sewing machine operation.
• CNC machine operation.
• Leadership skills, training a plus.
• Belief that any mechanical challenge can be resolved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
