Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP, as well as familiarity with FDA regulations. The Quality Control Inspector will utilize various precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques to perform thorough quality inspections and audits within the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, and CGMP standards.
- Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality control procedures.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement solutions that enhance product integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and non-conformance reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for automated quality checks when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques such as QA/QC processes, data collection methods, and analysis skills.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience with quality audits and the ability to interpret quality management systems effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to assess product quality accurately.
