Project Estimator / Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Estimator / Project Manager to lead the planning, estimating, and execution of construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing comprehensive bids, and managing projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction estimates using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals by analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms that align with project budgets.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of construction projects.
• Monitor project progress on-site and in the office, addressing issues related to construction management, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and implementing effective cost control strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution.
• Review contracts and change orders to ensure compliance with scope of work and budget constraints.
• Conduct site visits regularly to assess progress, safety compliance, and resolve any onsite challenges promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup processes.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and vendors.
• Experience with HeavyBid or similar construction estimating software for accurate bid preparation.
• Deep understanding of construction estimating principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols gained through hands-on experience.
• Expertise in cost control methods to keep projects within budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to develop accurate pricing strategies based on detailed analysis of plans and specifications.
• Solid background in construction management practices including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with contracts management—reviewing agreements to mitigate risks and ensure scope clarity.
