Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX, for an Intake Specialist. Responsibilities include managing client inquiries, conducting initial client interviews to gather case details, and assessing the viability of cases. The Intake Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate records, and assist in coordinating communication with clients and attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues
- Experience in Client Intake, particularly in gathering and assessing case information
- Proven Customer Service skills with a professional and empathetic approach
- Basic knowledge of Insurance processes related to personal injury cases
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in using basic office software and client management tools
- Previous experience in a legal or client services environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or coursework is beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls, web inquiries, and referrals
- Conduct thorough intake interviews to gather key facts about potential cases
- Evaluate cases based on liability, injury, and treatment criteria
- Identify viable claims involving motor vehicle accidents, commercial vehicle incidents, dog bites, premises liability, and work-related injuries
- Accurately enter and manage client information in case management software
- Respond to new leads promptly (goal: under 5 minutes) and follow up on missed or abandoned calls
- Clearly explain the firm’s process and set expectations for potential clients
- Coordinate with attorneys for case review when needed
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in all client interactions
