What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Manufacturing - Metal Fabrication position at DFC Company?
Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: Starting at $19 an hour depending on experience
Summary of Essential Functions:
Metal Fabrication Production
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic metal fabrication equipment
- Execute/document production through MRP system
- Regular preventative maintenance of equipment
- Inspect quality of work and complete associated documentation, ensure high quality workmanship and products
- Shearing/punching aluminum
- Maintain a neat orderly Sign Shop and lot
- Organize and track applicable inventory
- Assist managers with quarterly inventory
Kitting/Inventory Control
- Responsible for pulling all parts of an order together, using the work order provided, and staging all parts in a designated location ready to go for sign manufacturing. This includes all aluminum parts; sign faces or rolls of reflective sheeting if needed.
- Keeping good inventory records of sheeting in the warehouse.
- Helping logistics warehouse incoming product.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Manufacturing/Production experience required. CNC machinery experience is a plus.
