About the Role
Office Sign Company is looking for a passionate sign builder — someone with real experience, a sharp eye for quality, and a genuine love for the craft. This is a hands-on role for a routing specialist who will master and maintain our Colex, Zünd, and Multicam routers, building everything from standard signage to one-off custom pieces that customers are proud to put their name on. As you grow in the role, you'll also have the opportunity to learn and master our large-format laser — expanding your skill set beyond routing and becoming a true multi-discipline sign specialist who can move fluidly between equipment as jobs demand.
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain our Colex, Zünd, and Multicam routers to produce standard and custom signage with precision and consistency
- Learn and progressively master our large-format laser, growing into a go-to resource across multiple pieces of equipment
- Bring a genuine eye for quality and creativity to every job — we want to see work you're proud of
- Read job tickets, proofs, and cut files accurately, catching issues before they become problems
- Keep pace in a fast-moving production environment while holding the line on quality
- Communicate clearly and often with Production, Art, and Service to keep jobs moving smoothly
- Own your numbers — hit turnaround targets and contribute to team KPIs
- Support a culture of accountability, high standards, and mutual respect on the floor
- Jump in wherever needed to help the team hit its goals
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating CNC routers preferred (Colex, Zünd, or Multicam experience is a big plus)
- A track record of building signage — standard or custom — that you're genuinely proud of; show us your work
- Creativity and craftsmanship — you don't shy away from a challenging or unusual build
- A great attitude and strong communication skills — you make the people around you better
- Comfort with accountability and high standards; you want to be measured, not just to clock in
- A team-first mindset — you support Production, Art, and Service like they're your own department
- Ability to thrive under pace and pressure without cutting corners
